A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Olorogun Daniel Ighedo has drummed support for the State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa.
Speaking to newsmen in Sapele at the Delta State PDP Mega Rally, Olorogun Ighedo expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Governor so far and urged Deltans to continue to support him.
According to the PDP Chieftain, the Governor has performed beyond the expectations of Deltans, describing the Smart Agenda of the Governor as real.
He said that the Governor has touched the lives of Deltans positively in the last two years in office and implored Deltans to back the re-election of the Governor in 2019.
Olorogun Ighedo said the Delta State PDP Mega Rally was a demonstration of the acceptance of the Governor by Deltans, party faithful and supporters.
He said he was ” overwhelmed by the large turnout of our party men and women at this Mega Rally here in Sapele today. This large gathering of Deltans, party faithful and supporters is a clear demonstration of love for our dynamic Governor. The heavy downpours here today did not discourage our people; they have come from far and near to express their gratitude to the Governor”.
“I want to appeal to our people to continue to support the Governor. We in the Delta Central Senatorial District will deliver the Governor again in 2019 because he has tried so much in the last two years to bring dividends of democracy to our people”, Olorogun Ighedo said.
