The Jagbajantis Crooner, Olarewaju Fasisi popularly known as Sound Sultan is dead.
He reportedly died of cancer of the throat.
A statement on behalf of the family by Dr. Kayode Fasasi announced the death of the veteran multi-talented artiste said the late Sound Sultan fought a long battle with angioimmunoblastic t-cell lymphomia.
He left behind wife, children and siblings.
Sound Sultan was a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, comedian and recording artist.
He was regarded as one of the pacesetters of modern hip hop music in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased musician has asked the public to accord them utmost privacy as they come to grips with the tragic loss.
