The Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo was received in Enugu by the leadership of the All Progressive Congress led by its governorship candidate Senator Ayogu Eze and the Peoples Democratic Party in Enugu state led by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Osibanjo was in Enugu to commission APC campaign office of Senator Ayogu Eze, ahead of the commencement of Governorship election campaign.
Speaking at the ceremony, Osinbajo said that APC has come to stay in Enugu, and Senator Ayogu Eze was the right man for the governorship seat of the state.
The Vice President refuted insinuations in some quarters that President Muhammadu Buhari hated the Igbos.
The Governorship candidate of the APC in Enugu state, Senator Ayogu Eze said that it was time for Enugu to regain what it lost.
Meanwhile, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, has said that Nigeria divided between the rich and the poor, rather than by tribes and religion.
Osibanjo made the statement in Enugu during the presentation of the book “An Honour To Serve” by former governor of Enugu state Barr. Sullivan Chime.
