The Inspector General of Police has ordered the deployment of former Kaduna Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Abdulrahman to Enugu state as new Police Commissioner.
Abdulrahman is replacing Suleiman Balarabe who was deployed to Enugu in February this year.

Balarabe’s replacement is not unconnected with renewed insecurity in Enugu which has been globally acknowledged as the most peaceful state in the country.
The new police commissioner, Abdulrahman was removed as Kaduna Commissioner of Police in April as replaced by Aji Ali Janga and was posted to the Force Intelligence Bureau, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
