General Manager/CEO, Rangers International FC of Enugu, Christian Chukwu has commended his players for their resilience and fighting spirit, in Sundays 2 -1 victory over visiting Gombe United FC in the NPFL match day 20 game played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
According to him, the victory has momentarily moved Rangers International FC from its 16th position to 14th position on the NPFL league table, and however reeling with excitement that the team is back on the winning trail which he exuded with optimism will be sustained when Rangers play away to Abia Warriors in Umuahia on Sunday, 28th May, 2017.
Chairman Chukwu who was highly elated after the match, noted that the players displayed determination and consistency when after being down by a lone goal, came back gallantly to equalise and eventually win the match, with an emphatic, two goals to one.
The GM praised the courage and ambition of Rangers Players for resisting pressure from their opponent and keeping level-headed in the face of all odds from some quarters aimed at truncating the eventual victory which has put to rest Rangers superiority over their opponents, Gombe United FC.
