Enugu police commissioner charges officers to enforce COVID 19 restriction orders with professionalism.

The Enugu Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Adburrahman has warned officers enforcing the COVID 19 restriction orders in the state against arbitrary use of discretion al powers but exhibit a high sense of professionalism.

A statement signed by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe directed all Area Commanders, DPO’S and heads of tactical/operational departments of the command to ensure maximum control and supervision of officers and men under them as they will be held liable for any lapses recorded in their areas of responsibility.

Abdurrahman who reaffirmed the command’s commitment to fully enforce the restriction orders impose by the Enugu state government urged residents of the state to remain law abiding and avoid falling prey to fraudsters using the internet and social media platforms to defraud unsuspecting citizens of their hard-earned money and valuables.

The command also charged the people of the state to report suspected criminals and acts of criminality to the nearest police station or call the command’s emergency’s hotlines on 08032003702, 08075390883, 08086671202 or 08098880172.
