Dein of Agbor Scores Okowa High on Projects Delivery

THE Dein of Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM, Benjamin Ikenchukwu, Keagborekuzi 1, has scored Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration high in the delivery of electoral promises.

According to the Obi, “we are impressed with what you have done within your two years of being in office.”

The Dein made the commendation today when Governor Okowa paid him a courtesy visit at his Palace in Agbor as part of activities to mark his second year in office.

Governor Okowa, accompanied by his Deputy, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro and other top government functionaries before paying the visit, had commissioned and inspected some projects executed by his administration in Ika South local government area of the state.

“This is homecoming for you, our illustrious son and we are happy for what you have done in the state and our area, much is expected from you and remain focused,” the Dein who spoke through Chief Charles Nayagba said.


Governor Okowa had during the visit, said his visit to Ika South local government was the 9th in the series of tour of local government areas in the state where he has commissioned and inspected series of projects executed by his administration in the past two years.

Governor Okowa who scored his administration high in the delivery of democratic dividends within the past two years, stated, “today, we have inspected the bridge that is going on at the railway line, we are happy that the contractor is doing well and he has promised that the old Lagos/Agbor road will be ready for commissioning by next year.”

“We also commissioned Charles Street and internal roads in Agbor-Obi, we will also, commission Idumu-Oza/Alihiagwu/Oki road and inspect circular road at Abavo,” the Governor said, emphasizing, “we are still keeping faith with our people by delivering on our electoral promises, we are also, having town hall meetings to let our people know what we are doing and hear from them, their expectations to enable us include such in our programmes.”
