The Delta State government has said it will embark on demolition exercise to remove all illegal structures built along the streets and highways in the state.
A statement signed by the Director of Information, Mr Paul Osahor, said that government had observed with dismay the ugly trend where some persons erect structures along the streets and highways, thereby defacing the environment and also endangering the lives of the citizens.

The statement requested owners of illegal structures built along streets and highways to remove them on or before Friday August 30, 2019 without fail.
It warned that the Ministry of Environment will soon embark on the demolition exercise to remove all illegal structures built along the streets and highways in the state.
