At 7:04pm Wednesday, Delta State Government receives her consignment of the Covid19 Vaccines today at the Asaba International Airport Asaba.
The vaccines, syringes and data tools were received on behalf of the State Governor by the Honourable Commissioner for Health Dr Ononye Moriah Mordi was immediately deployed to the state Cold Chain for preservation and storage.
Also in the delegation were the Chairman DSPHCDA, Dr. Isioma Okobah, the Executive Director, Dr Winful-Orieke Jude, Director of Community Health Services, Dr. Yinkore Paul, Director of social mobilization and Advocacy Mrs. Ijeoma Popo, State immunization Officer, Dr. Grace Ngozi Orofuke, State Cold Chain Officer Mr. Ewere Adaikpoh,State Coordinator WHO, Dr. Onyinye Emefiele,State Coordinator NPHCDA, Dr. Ofonakara Uzo and representatives of UNICEF and WHO.
