The Delta State Technical and Vocational Education Board in collaboration with Central Bank of Nigeria Entrepreneur Development Centre (South South Zone), has graduated 223 Deltans at the just concluded Basic Business Management Skills and Mind Set Orientation in the first tranche of the ongoing Training for all Delta State Vocational Centers.
In an opening remark, the Executive Secretary of the board, Comrade Michael Akpobire, advised the graduands to make good use of the opportunity towards being a boss of their own, adding, that all beneficiaries of the programme will be given starter packs as agreed with the Office of the Chief Job Creation office to Delta State Government in due time.
Also in attendance at the ceremony was the Executive Secretary of Delta State Micro Small and Medium Development Agency, Mrs Shimite Bello who urged the participants to utilise the opportunity effectively and see themselves as CEOs in the favour market.
In a closing remark, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Basic and Secondary, Mr David Onokpe commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, for deeming it necessary to sponsor the first tranche of graduates towards making them live a fulfilled life.
