ENUGU-THE Deputy Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Awgu local government area and the President General of Agbudu community, Enugu State, Engr Chukwujekwu Nebo, has described Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, as one of the best governors in the country.

“It is on record that no other government has been able to achieve what this government has achieved already. The whole state is wearing a new look and the people are so happy”.
“Kudos to the executives of these markets who mobilised their members for the rally. I thank the traders for calling a spade a spade”.
Nebo noted that with the kind of endorsement the governor has received already, his second tenure was a done deal.
“Already, all the members of the party from three zones of the state have given the governor their backing. They have given him the green light to prepare for the 2019 elections”, Nebo concluded.
It could be recalled that while members of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu West and North Senatorial Districts of the state had unanimously endorsed him for second term because of his unprecedented achievements in just two years in office despite the severe economic challenges, the state’s workers, during a one-day symposium organised by the Trade Union Congress, passed a vote of confidence in the governor and asked him to continue his good works.
The most recent was the endorsement by the state’s traders under the auspices of the Enugu State Amalgamated Market Traders Association (ESAMATA). The traders in a solidarity rally they organised in honour of Governor Ugwuanyi’s good governance and initiation of unique traders’ empowerment programme. They also unanimously endorsed his re-election in 2019, saying that he has “performed creditably in just two years in office despite the daunting economic challenges in the in the country”.
