Enugu Monarch donates 2 Hummer buses to Police in Enugu

ENUGU-Traditional Ruler of Mmaku in Awgu Local Government Area, Enugu State, HRH, Igwe Cyprian Mmaduabuchi Nevobasi (Ogilishigbo) on Monday, donated two Hummer buses to Nigeria police, Enugu state command to assist in fighting crime.

Igwe Nevobasi during the presentation of the car keys to the Commissioner of Police Enugu Division, CP Danmallam Muhammad, lauded Enugu Police command for their effort in fighting crime in the state.

He said that he was touched by the good works the police were doing in the state by keeping Enugu peaceful and has donated the buses to aid their performance to make the State crime free.

Nevobasi called on other groups and individuals to support the police in fighting crime, pointing out that we call on the police when we are being attacked by criminal and they will come to our rescue.

Receiving the buses which cost about 24 million Naira on behalf of the police management team, the Enugu State Commissioner of pPolice Danmallam Mohammed called for more synergy in the

fight against crime and criminality as security is everybody’s business.

His words “we must ensure that Enugu remains peaceful. We appeal to other well meaning Nigerians to emulate this kind gesture as we are on our toes to check the activities of criminals in the state.

The Commissioner of Police thanked the Monarch for his kind gesture while issuing out the police emergency numbers to the Monarch and his retinue of chiefs that accompanied him the state police command headquarters.

He further promised to use the vehicle as a network to curb crime in the state.

Danmallam called on the members of the public to partner with them by bringing useful information that would help in fighting crime in the state.
