As part of its desire to serve humanity through provision of medical services, the New Face of Enugu Movement has organsised free medical outreach for women, youths and the aged in Enugu south local government area of the state in support of the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Mbah.

The exercise was held at the council headquarters, Uwani in partnership with Help the Poor Rural Healthcare Foundation.
In a welcome address, the secretary new face of Enugu movement, Comrade Henry Atigwe explained that the exercise as part of its contributions to ensure that the electorates are healthy and fit to participate in the 2023 general elections.
He also said the group will use the opportunity to carrt out voter educate and sensitisation urging them to collect their permanent voters card.
Enugu South local government chairman, represented by his special adviser on political matters, Charles Igwesi commended the initiative and called on people of the state to embrace the gesture.
Also speaking, the founder, Help the Poor Rural Healthcare Foundation Dr Tonia Eze who led the team of medical professionals in delivering healthcare services to people said the medical outreach covers all kinds of ailments.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Charles Ilodi appreciated the exercise, and commended the initiators, noting that, only a healthy person can go out to cast vote.
The group said it is optimistic that, the dream of a new Enugu state would be achieved considering the visionary prospects outlined by the PDP governorship candidate of state, Dr Peter Mbah and appealed to him to give utmost attention to the health sector.
The free medical outreach will be extended to the seventeen local government areas of the state.
