On July 8, 2017, youths in Enugu and eminent personalities in the state will gather at the Cinema Hall, Polo Shopping Mall to honour fifty young persons who have distinguished themselves in their professional career. The historic event will take place during the 2017 edition of Enugu Youth Summit on Innovative & Digital Technology. It is facilitated by the Special Assistant to Governor Ugwuanyo on Youth Affairs. After breaking a 24-year record with his First Class in English and Literary Studies at the University of Nigeria, Kingsley also broke an all-time record in his Masters by making a CGPA of 5.00 (out of 5.00). He’s currently at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, the UK where he secured a scholarship for his PhD. Kingsley is a university lecturer and a life coach
.Barr Chima Obieze:
Youngest Enugu youth to be elected in 2015 as Member, Enugu State House of Assembly. Youth Mobilizer. Barrister Obieze was Legislative Assistant to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu. A humble youth leader from a very humble background. A lover of truth and Social Justice.
Chukwuma Ephraim Okenwa:
Social Entrepreneur to the core. Vibrant Director of one of the largest leading private schools in Enugu State, Queens Model Secondary School, CEO Values Project & Youth Mobilizer.
Dr Rita Oluchi Orji:
Made CGPA of 4.74 First Class honours as an Orphan at Unizik, 3.90 out of 4.0 points on her MSc and 96% in her Doctorate, Computer Science in one of the renowned Universities in Canada, University of Saskatchewan. Entire people of Greater Owelli in AWGU celebrated her on 5th January while SA On Youth Affairs represented Enugu State Governor in the event.
Dr. Rita Oluchi Orji holds a PhD in Computer Science and presently working with the School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, Canada as a Banting Fellow. She is also a Visiting Senior Lecturer with the Computer Science Department at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Dr Orji teaches and supervises graduate students at both Masters and PhD level. She is passionate about youth empowerment and women education as a motivational speaker.

A cultural promoter, performing poet, broadcaster and Writer. She is the Founder, OJA Cultural Development Initiative and the Executive Director of Nwadioramma Concept. She is also a child Igbo poetry coach and a motivator.

Young lecturer. Preacher. Mentor to many Enugu students. Presently a PhD student and just got a 5000 Euro grant for his PhD from an international organisation. His proposal was among the 13 successful ones across West Africa.

Ibeh Chinomso Franklin:
An entrepreneur, public speaker, author and agriculturalist. He has gone Back To The Farm, taking Agriculture as Big Business. His company is in collaboration with the Office Of SA to the Governor on Youth in the running of Enugu One Youth One Skill. In Rivers State, he trained about 2,000 youths on contemporary agricultural skills.
Ani Nnaemeka Charles:
Charles was the overall best graduating student in Medical Rehabilitation Department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. First person from Nsukka and even Enugu State to attain this height. Currently, he is doing his one-year internship programme at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Anambra State.

Youth talent hunt Crusader. An Entertainer, the Coordinator Nsukka Got Talent Hunt & Show. He has organized a memorable talent hunt for the youth in Nsukka Cultural Zone to develop, harness and to promote their talents with respect to Entertainment.

ONYIA CHINAZA JASMINE
Naza runs a Public Relation and Digital Marketing company called Nazmine Media. She is also the Project Manager of SOUTH EAST TRENDS – Eastern Nigeria theme blog.
She was mentioned last year by blueprint_afric among INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN ENUGU TO WATCH OUT FOR IN 2017.
Naza’s foray into the social media sphere gained prominence and attention with a trend she started #FixSouthEastRoads to bring the attention of government at all levels to the deplorable state of the Enugu Onitsha expressway. Asides the numerous events she has coordinated in the capacity of media consultant, adding last year’s Phynofest to her already power-packed resume was probably the icing of the cake for 2016.
Nkalu Chigozie Nelson:
Nelson is a young lecturer and researcher who has published different scholarly articles in both local and international journals with huge interests in public finance and development economics. He motivates and mentors over hundreds of youths in UNN, and still running his PhD in the same institution. He is a researcher par excellence and a lecturer currently lecturing in Department of Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
DR. MRS. CHIDIMMA OMEKE:
Dr Chidinma had her primary/secondary education in village schools. Got admission to study Medicine/Surgery, currently doing residency programme in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She loves God and dedicates time for youth development mostly. Mother of three, mentor to many ladies. Dr Chidinma wrote the best notes being used by students since 2007 till date. One of the best graduating students in 2009 and has obtained a Masters degree in Pharmacy.
Ezea Uchenna
Uchenna as a young man had to drop out of junior secondary school due to finance. He followed his uncle to Abuja and started apprentice with him that took him 9 years before he started his own Pharmaceutical business.
But he understood well the importance of Education to one’s life and went back to school. Uche continued to struggle with his business in order to fund his education. Presently, he has Masters in International Relations and can boast of four pharmaceutical outlets in Abuja where he employs more than eighteen staff including Pharmacists and Nurses.
Ibuchukwu Kenneth Nwodo:
Ibuchukwu is into National Youth Advocacy; discovery, promotion of talents for self-discovery through economic and capital development. He is National Chairman, Rangers Supporters Club and Board Member, Rangers Management Board, the youngest to occupy that position since Rangers began.
Barr Amb John Nwobodo:
John is the Chairman of IPAC (Inter-Party Advisory Council) Enugu State Chapter, an umbrella body for all the Political Parties in Nigeria. He’s also the President of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Enugu, an International youth organization with presence in over 120 countries around the world. He is widely known for his high-level of integrity and humility as well as his dynamic leadership qualities. As a human right lawyer Barr Nwobodo has equally devoted his life to fighting for social justice. He is the youngest national party leader in the recent history rising to become the National Secretary of the National Action Council (NAC) at the age of 26. He later became the Deputy National Chairman of Nigeria Advance Party (NAP).
OKECHUKWU CHUKWUMA:
Chukwuma is a young lecturer and Researcher who has distinguished himself in the academic world. As a very young scholar, he has already taught in private, state and federal universities in Nigeria, namely Gregory University, Uturu, Abia State; Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State; Wellspring University, Benin City and currently at the Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa State. As a researcher, he has already published 21 well researched papers in both local and international journals with the latest published in Media Watch Journal in India. He has also presented 12 scholarly papers at both local and international conferences. He also has a group of students across universities in Nigeria that he is currently mentoring in the area of communication and media research.

Amobi is Team Manager, Rangers International FC, Enugu. Legal Consultant Players’ Union. Team Manager, Nigeria Professional Football League Al. He managed Rangers when they made winning history after 32years of such victory. Amobi is very focused and determined person.

Kennedy is CEO Kenndrill Fashion and Beauty Home. Chairman of Kennedy CARE Foundation. He loves creativity and inspiring the youth to be self-empowered through skill acquisition and also extending helping hands to d poor in the rural area.
Chinaecherem Ugwu
Chinecherem is a Writer, Speaker and Life Coach. His online teachings cum publications have tremendously transformed the way young people think on issues of life. He teaches and practises ‘I Will Wait’ mandate which promotes sexual purity. Neche writes deep things like an elder, though he is very young.
Mrs Ada Chukwuma
Ada is vibrant young preacher and a motivational speaker. She has impacted a lot of lives positively, especially youths ,th rough her empowerment program tagged REALITIES Talk Show. Not deterred by her physical disability, she has ardently canvassed for the “Entrepreneurial Youth” through her destiny-changing seminars with a lot of Government dignitaries in attendance. She has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the prestigious ESUT Business School. Mrs Ada graduated as the best female in that department.
Engr Val Nsoke:
Val is a Computer Engineering graduate. He started working in the bank at the age of 23. But later resigned from the bank to join politics in 2015 Dec. He is currently Executive Assistant to the Governor and also the Coordinator of all the Executives Assistants to the Governor in Igbo Etiti. Val is the CEO of Sokey Engineering Nig limited. He has empowered many lives.
Okpunwa Sunday Okoafor
Sunday is a 35year-old seasoned welder and metal fabricator who first started d conversion of a bus to Diana goods carrier. Sunday became a welder at d age of 17 and has trained a large number of people in the field. He started construction of local charcoal stove in Enugu. He was able to among other things train a medical doctor from his welding work.
Eze Nnaemeka Charles (Nani Boi)
Nani Boi is a prolific writer with over 50 published books. He is sponsor and presenter of ‘ogabuagaa’ on Dream 92.5fm. A publisher and movie producer.
Precious Abonyi:
Precious Abonyi is National Coordinator of Wisdom Foundation, a leading youth organisation in Southeast Nigeria. She promotes values & skills with the organisation and as the National Coordinator supervises the various organs of Wisdom Foundation. Precious is also a Farmer with over 100 agric Palm trees.
