OGOR CONGRATULATES GEN OMU AT 77

Minority Leader, House of Representatives and member representing Isoko federal constituency, Rt Hon Leo Okuweh Ogor has congratulated retired military officer, elder statesman, administrator, Gen. Paul Ufuoma Omu (Rtd) on the occasion of his 77th birthday celebration.

In his congratulatory message, the former Deputy Leader, House of Representatives and leader of the PDP caucus in the House eulogised Gen. Paul Omu for his selfless service to Isoko nation and Nigeria.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Isoko federal constituency, I heartily felicitate with you on the memorable occasion of your 77 birthday,” he stated.

Hon Ogor while rejoicing with Gen. Omu also extolled his remarkable and commendable achievements toward the development of Isoko nation.

“Even before your retirement from the army, you have always donated your time and money toward the betterment of Isoko nation. This selfless and singular service of yours rightly earned you the Othuke of Isoko land and the Olodi of Igbide kingdom. Your types are rare in any ethnic nationality. Your unquestionable love and altruistic struggle for the development of Isoko land could not be quantified. Your candour, dedication, diligence and commitment to office as one time President-General of Isoko Development Union has in no small measure brought about peace, love and unity amongst the various communities that made up of the Isoko ethnic nationality. Your footprint in Isoko land will ever remain indelible”.

“As a career military officer, your handwork and dedication to duty see you rise to the pinnacle of your profession. The many lofty positions you held which include a two-time military administrator  while in the Army is a testament to your dedication to duty as a gallant officer of the Nigeria Army.” Ogor stated.
