Okowa’s administration committed to wellbeing of Deltans – Otuaro

THE Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro has restated the total commitment of the Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa administration to the development and wellbeing of Deltans.

The Deputy Governor, who was speaking during the king’s banquet organised by the Calvary World Outreach for Delta North traditional rulers held at the City Of Refuge in Boji-Boji, Owa in Ika North- East Local Government Area, said that the present state government has been impactful On the lives of Deltans.

He said royal fathers as custodians of the peoples’ culture and the people have been playing vital roles in the development of the state and partnering the state government in her efforts to sustain peace and development across the state.

Barr. Otuaro lauded the royal fathers for their collaboration, royal blessings and support for the state government, noting that traditional institutions are enthroned by God for the people, government and admitted that there is a synergy between the two institutions.

He stated that it was one meeting he has attended that meant a lot to him, as it is impactful, divine in its nature and the content powered by God’s anointing, emphasising that Christianity is not a religion, but divinity at work in man, adding that the Holy Spirit takes the message to the heart of those the message is specifically meant for.

In his remark, the host and General Overseer, Calvary World Outreach, Apostle Christopher Eruemulor, who spoke on the overwhelming authority of kings, said that God enthroned kings and imbued them with powers, noting that anyone resisting them is resisting the authority of God.

He noted that traditional rulers are ministers of God to their subjects and that God has given them the cane to flog when necessary, saying that any mistake of the royal fathers can destroy the destiny of his people.
