The People’s Democratic Party has won all chairmanship positions in the just concluded local government election in Enugu state.
The party also clinched the councillorship positions in two hundred and fifty-eight out of two hundred sixty electoral wards in the state.
Declaring the results, chairman Enugu state independent electoral commission, Professor Mike Ajogwu said election did not hold in two electoral wards of Obioma and Eke in Udi local government area.
Ajogwu also said the people Democratic Party met the required number of votes cast as stipulated by the state electoral act in all local governments and wards.
