On the after match of Rangers Intl. FC scandalous loss 4 – 0 to Abia Warriors FC Umuahia in a match day 21 NPFL oriental derby on Sunday in Umuahia.
The General Manager/Chief Executive Officer, Rangers Intl. FC Enugu, Christian Chukwu (MFR) has given the Rangers technical crew a marching order to perform and produce results in the next few matches, starting with Sundays match day 21 game against Nassarawa United FC in Enugu or face the wrath of the management.
A statement by the club’s Director of Media and Public Relations, Foster Chime, said the GM/CEO gave the charge after a technical review meeting with the technical crew of the club, in Enugu on Tuesday.
He charged them to see the loss on Sunday to Abia Warriors as a wakeup call, talk to themselves, work as a team, take control of the players and focus on the remaining matches in the league.
Chukwu advised them against ruing the Abia Warriors loss but brace up for further challenges, concentrate on Sundays match against Nasarawa United to achieve result, have a rethink and rebuild the team for optimum results.
According to the General Manager the head Coach, Mr. Chukwuma Agbo should carry his colleagues along in whatever decision concerning the players, redouble their efforts, and abhor misunderstanding amongst themselves for the interest and overall performance of the team.
He further harped on effective communication and robust relationship between the technical crew and the management to close ranks in issues affecting the players and the crew.
The GM assured the coaches of his readiness to consult widely and effectively before taking an action on behalf of the club.
Cross section of the coaches and management present at the meeting restated their commitment towards ensuring good and effective working relationship as well as work harder in making sure Rangers Int’l. FC bounces back to winning ways, starting with Sundays match day 22 against Nassarawa United F.C in Enugu.
