Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed one person and set a police van ablaze in Enugu while enforcing the sit-at-home order declared by a faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB.
Dome News gathered that the incident took place beside Agip Filling Station opposite Colliery Hospital at New Market.
A man who escaped being caught up with the operation in a video being circulated online and spoke in English and Igbo said the unknown gunmen numbered about ten.
According to the male voice, the gunmen shot sporadically into the air.
The incidence occured at about 6: 25 am, he said.
The male voice said, “This is happening right now ,10th December 2022 at Colliery Hospital, New market, beside AGIP Filling Station. Unknown gunmen numbering about ten about shot sporadically into the air”.
Dome News could not immediately verify the identity of the dead victim.
