Enugu State Government has commenced second payment to the first batch beneficiaries of its scholarship scheme in various institutions of higher learning across the country for 2018/2019 academic session.
A statement from the Enugu State Scholarship Board indicated that the state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has released funds for the payment.
The statement signed by the Board’s Executive Secretary added that Governor Ugwaunyi also released funds for the payment of second batch scholarship beneficiaries in the Institute of Management and Technology and Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo for the 2018/2019 academic session.
The statement reads:
“In fulfillment of his promises to the Enugu state students in tertiary institution of higher learning, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in his magnanimity released funds for the second payment of the first batch of scholarship beneficiaries in various institutions of higher learning across the country for 2018/2019 academic session”.
His Excellency has also released full payment for the second batch scholarship beneficiaries in Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu and Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo for the 2018/2019 academic session.
According to the statement beneficiaries of the scholarship have been communicated and payment has commenced.
