Ugwuanyi sends first batch commissioner Nominees to Assembly

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has submitted the first batch of Commissioner Nominees to the State House of Assembly for consideration and possible confirmation.

The list of the first batch of nominees is contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya and addressed to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, dated August 19, 2019.

Recall that Governor Ugwuanyi had mandated the seventeen local government areas in the state to select and nominate qualified persons in the locality for appointment as commissioners.

Several local government areas have completed the process by nominating their choice candidates for the commissionership positions.
