The Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Barrister Henry Nnanna Okeke has presented security
gadgets to Ihe Neighbourhood Watch in Ihe Autonomous Community, Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu.
The donation was in fulfilment of the promise earlier made by Barrister Okeke to support the efforts of the Neighborhood watch group in protecting lives and property in the community.
The items donated include; Royal Link Megaphone, 20 2W 2-in-1 Light Emmitt Diode ( LED), 16 Security Whistles, and one packet of iron batteries.
While presenting the items on Monday, Barrister Okeke advised the Neighborhood Watch Group to utilise the items judiciously.
He advised them not to take advantage of the outfit to witch-hunt their perceived enemies but to carry out the mandate for which the Neighbourhood was established.
Speaking, the National President, Federation of Ihe Autonomous Community, Hon. Rufus Oguejiofor thanked the SA to Governor Ugwuanyi on Safety for the kind gesture which he said indicate that given a better opportunity, he would do more for his people.
Hon. Oguejiofor commended the Executive Governor of Enugu state , Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for the appointment of Barrister Okeke as Special Assistant on Safety.
