Member Representing Enugu East Rural Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Joseph Ugwumba says he is ready to part with any of his organ including his (heart) if it will prolong the life of the President Muhammadu Buhari to live and fight corruption , insecurity in Nigeria.
Joseph Ugwumba who made the promise in Enugu said Nigerians still need President Buahri to live long to prosecute the anti-corruption war and commended the President efforts against corruption and urged Nigerians to support the APC-led government irrespective of their political, religious or ethnic affiliations.
Ugwumba while refuting reports making the rounds in some quarters about his intention to join the APC blamed the hardship allegedly occasioned by the efforts against corruption on lack of proper planning in the time past to boost the country’s economy for job creation.
The lawmaker also commended the Ugwuanyi-led administration for its people-oriented policies and programs which he said can be seen in the massive construction and rehabilitation of roads, agriculture as well as infrastructural and rural development
Ugwumba said the war against corruption provides hope for a better future while urging the federal government to channel recovered looted funds to the development of critical infrastructure.
