A 29-year-old lady, simply identified as Blessing, has been found dead with her vital organs missing in her apartment at Mosogar, Ethiope West council area of Delta State.
Late Blessing was reportedly last seen on the night of Saturday, May 29.
She reportedly returned home with an unidentified man.
“She came with a man on Saturday night and I saw the man leaving that night. But since then, we have not seen her,” a source claimed.
The source added that concern over the whereabouts of the deceased by Tuesday, prompted neighbours to invite the police to break down her door, only to find her lifeless body with private parts removed.
Neighbours had reportedly perceived a foul smell oozing from her house, before the police were invited over.
Acting Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident on Wednesday.
“I can only confirm that she was found dead in her house with the door locked from outside and her private part and nipples were cut off. That’s all I know for now,” Edafe said.
