OSSISSA youths in Delta State have staged a protest against incessant Fulani attacks and unwholesome activities in their community. The protesting youths were said to have blocked the Ughelli- Asaba expressway.
An eye-witness who described the protest as fierce said there were over 100 Military men, as well as several Police Officers helplessly persuading the youths to engage in other means of driving their point instead of blocking the road to affect innocent road user.
The youths were said to have vehemently to yield to all entreaties from the military officials. The protest which lasted for several hours left commuters and travellers from the Warri axis stranded following the protest, while those leaving the East had the same ugly experience.
